Aesthetic plastic surgery of the body Labiaplasty
Labiaplasty is a specialized surgical procedure that focuses on correcting the shape and/or size of the labia minora. It is intended for women who experience functional discomfort (such as pain, irritation, or discomfort during physical activity or sexual intercourse) or aesthetic dissatisfaction, regardless of age.
The indication is established after a thorough medical evaluation, discussion of expectations, and clear counseling regarding the options and limitations of the procedure. The goal is to restore comfort, functionality, and self-confidence, with absolute respect for natural anatomy.
The procedure is performed using modern, safe techniques, with respect for the anatomy and the natural appearance of the area. The result is discreet and individualized. Recovery is usually brief, and a gradual return to daily activities is expected within a few days.

What are the indications for labiaplaty?
Labiaplasty is indicated when the size or shape of the labia minora causes functional discomfort, recurrent hygiene-related problems, or significant psychological distress. It is not a procedure based solely on aesthetic standards, but rather an individualized medical decision. The main indications for labiaplasty include:
Functional symptoms, such as pain or irritation during walking, exercise, or cycling; discomfort or pain during sexual intercourse; and frequent minor injuries or “pinching” of the labia caused by underwear or tight clothing.
Difficulty maintaining proper hygiene of the area and an increased frequency of local irritation or infections.
Anatomical asymmetry or hypertrophy, either congenital or acquired (after childbirth, hormonal changes, weight loss, or aging).
Psychological and emotional distress, leading to reduced self-confidence, feelings of embarrassment, or avoidance of sexual activity or certain activities (e.g. going to the beach, wearing tight clothing).
Labiaplasty is not indicated in cases where a woman is under pressure from third parties or has unrealistic aesthetic expectations.
